Marjorie “Marge” L. Dallen

(nee Moon) Passed away peacefully and reunited with her husband, Myron “Mike” Dallen Jr., and son, Myron “Mike” Dallen III on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at age 96.  Loving mother of Richard (Tracy) Dallen, John (Terri) Dallen, and Kathy Dallen.  Proud Nanna of Victoria, Richie, Jocelyn Julia “JJ”, Travis, Brendan, and Alex.  Marge will be dearly missed by dear friends Gerry Helmers who was like a sister to her, Doloris Welbes, and her daughter, Therese, along with many others.

She will be remembered for her kindness and willingness to accept jobs to make the education experience better for teachers, administrators, and most importantly to students of MPS. She was a Teacher of the Year, an MTEA representative, and the best at making her students feel loved, intelligent, and appreciated.

She was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and enjoyed attending games. Her teacher hangouts included Ted’s Ice Cream & Restaurant with the best malts, Maxim’s in Brookfield and tacos at Walters on North with Dolores and Therese.

Funeral Mass Friday, February 26 at 4 PM at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH 917 N. 49TH ST. MILWAUKEE, WI 53208.  Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Saturday, February 27, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a service at 11:15 AM. Interment to follow.  Face coverings and social distancing will be required.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society would be appreciated.

Thank you to the doctors, nurses, and caregivers especially Mary Angela for the compassionate care given to Marge. At times, she would have a caregiver that had been one of her students and Marge enjoyed the connection.

Marge was born in New York, NY, the only child born to Richard N. and Beatrice (nee Gruber) Moon.  She received her Masters Degree in Education and was an MPS teacher until age 67.
