Marilyn J. Birchbauer (née Esser) – Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the age of 78.

Loving wife of Louis J. Birchbauer, Ph.D. Cherished mother of Brian (Stacey) Birchbauer and Lori (Mark) Pearson. Proud grandma of Logan, Alex, Mitchell, Izzie, Lucas and Cooper.Preceded in death by her parents Roman and Thelma Esser and brothers Robert Esser, Thomas Esser and Raymond Esser.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Additional visitation will be held at St. Alphonsus Parish, 6060 West Loomis Road, Greendale, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
