Mary, 82, of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully November 9th, 2016 at Froedtert Hospital, surrounded by family. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. She is the beloved mother of Karen Miller, Carl (Lynn) Giaimo and Christopher Giaimo. Devoted “Stepmom” to Mickey Yakir, Lucy (Chris) Homan and Veronica Kossow. Grandmother to Paul (Amy), Kevin, Joshua, Vincent, Kate, Isabella and Sophia. Great grandmother to Christian, Isabella, Paul Jr. and Eliana. She has reunited with her siblings Phyllis West, Therese Easey and Nick Beaumont. Also a treasured aunt to JoAnne, Chuck, Jimmy, John, Alison, Phyllis, Laura, Norm, Dodie, Julie, Alida, Nick Jr and Helen. She dearly cherished her children, nieces, nephews, and all family members who survive her.

Mary worked in the food industry and the restaurant business. She managed Arthur Treacher’s and Smith Brothers, where she employed many of her family and friends, teaching all of her employees her great work ethic. She had a passion for cooking, creating recipes and always wanted to write a cookbook. She cherished her family and went out of her way to make each one feel special. She taught everyone how to jitterbug and to make our treasured family recipes. Her later years were devoted to caring for others. She worked as a caregiver to the elderly until she needed care herself. She was a bingo ambassador, teaching and socializing, while making friends. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
