Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, Sunday, November 9, 2025. Age 95. Born in Denmark, Tennessee on January 13, 1930. Beloved mother of Ann E. (the late Charles) Currie, Joyce E., Mary E., Blondell E. (the late Jewel Currie), Bruce E., and Billy E. (Dawn).

Loved by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

Margie worked as a private caregiver for two prominent Milwaukee families (Kravitz) who became her loving extended family. She then worked as a supervisor of housekeeping at Memorial, Foundation and West Side Hospitals in Milwaukee before retiring in 1992. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, watching her soap operas and national news, and spending time with her grandchildren.

A memorial celebration in her honor will be announced at a later date.
