Joe’s love for sports, particularly the Packers, Brewers, and Bucks, was undeniable. Whether it was cheering on his favorite teams from the comfort of his family room or discussing game stats, Joe's enthusiasm for sports was obvious. We cherished our Saturday night dinners with Joe and Julie. Joe and I would talk about recent games and players while Julie and Dona talked music. I will also miss the many times Joe took me fishing. Many of us have fond memories of casting lines with Joe, sharing stories, and enjoying the tranquility of nature together. In times like these, we turn to our faith for comfort, for understanding, and for the promise of eternal peace. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.” Psalm 116:15 May Joe rest in peace and rise in His glory.

Charlotte and I were both saddened to hear of Joe's passing, and wish to extend our sincere condolences to Julie and the rest of the Chusid family. Learning of Joe's death brought many thoughts to mind of time spent with Joe both professionally, as well as with the Chusid family. Having started my internship at Childrens Hospital the same year he joined the staff, my career was in many ways influenced by him. He was a wonderful teacher, a caring and always thoughtful clinician, and a great companion in many of our shared leadership roles at CHW. And he and Julie were also great parenting partners in our early years of child-rearing. Peace be with the family as you celebrate his wonderful life and contributions. Bob and Charlotte
