Lisa Brockel, born on July 1, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at home on May 25, 2026.
Lisa grew up between Wisconsin and San Diego, California, two places that both remained close to her heart throughout her life. She graduated from Greenfield High School and went on to spend many years working as a property manager, where her strong personality, honesty, and ability to connect with people left a lasting impression on those around her.
Lisa was someone people naturally gravitated toward. She was hilarious, sarcastic, passionate, and never afraid to speak her mind — always with authenticity and heart. Her brutally honest sense of humor could make people laugh even in difficult moments, and those who knew her best appreciated the realness and sincerity she brought into every conversation. She was stubborn in the best possible way, fiercely loyal to the people she loved, and always unapologetically herself.
More than anything, Lisa loved her family. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren and absolutely loved spoiling them whenever she could. Whether cheering from the stands, watching games from home, or passionately talking about sports, she was one of the biggest supporters her family could have. She especially loved watching the Brewers and Packers and enjoyed following baseball and football throughout her life. Her love for warm weather and California never faded, and she often found happiness in memories of the West Coast and the time she spent there.
Lisa is survived by her loving partner, Kurt; her children, Kelly (Jordan) and Rob (Lori); and her cherished grandchildren, Ryelin, Finley, Brielle, and JJ. She is also survived by her sisters, Leslee and Gina. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Barbara; her brother, Frank; and Richard “Rick” Brockel.
Lisa will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her humor, her strength, and the unforgettable personality that made her truly one of a kind. Her memory will continue to live on through the countless moments, laughs, lessons, and love she shared with the people closest to her.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capital Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin.
