Lester Louis Talatzko

Born to Eternal Life on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the age of 75.  Survived by his beloved wife, Arlene for 47 years, sister Susan McKenna, brother, Gerard (Susan) Talatzko, sister-in-law Kellie Brock (Joel), stepson Frederick Schenk (Christine) and stepdaughter Julie Rohde. Further survived by nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Les was born in Milwaukee and graduated from Boys Tech. He was dedicated to his country and enlisted in the Army. He served during the Vietnam War and was deployed to Germany where he served for two years.

Upon returning home, he found employment at Rexnord where he worked for 10 years. After leaving Rexnord, he held several other jobs. Finally, Les retired from Federal Manufacturing.

Les loved to fish up in Crystal Falls, Michigan and Door County, Wisconsin. He enjoyed golfing with his friends. He liked listening to music and he loved his red truck. Les loved colorful things, so traditional black funeral attire is not required or expected.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, with a service at 2:00 pm at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, WI.
