Daniel Diliberti left a message on February 9, 2025:
Leona was part of the Jackson Park community through her position at Badger Bank and untiring work with both the Jackson Park Business Association and with the Jackson Park Neighborhood Association. And she left the neighborhood a better place by her presence there. She may be gone, but she is not forgotten. Thank you Leona.

Leona Roesch gave me my first solo show of photography at M&I Bank on 43rd Street and Oklahoma Avenue after returning home from a tour of Europe. She was always interested in my schooling while studying at MATC and took time to talk to me when I worked at Sentry Foods. Mrs. Roesch always encouraged my interest in fine art photography as well as Commercial work. Thanks Leona!
Steve Schultz left a message on February 4, 2025:
My parents and the Roesch’s would get together for the holidays for many years when I was a kid. I will always remember how nice and friendly Leona was. Each year she would bring along a painting she did as a gift. She was very talented also. Rest in peace Mrs. Roesch
Julie Rieder left a message on February 4, 2025:
She was always accepting of other art forms even though her paintings were so good. She will be missed.
