Latoya entered the earth realm on October 16, 1979, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was born to the care of George Scott and Mary L. Jordan. Latoya attended Alverno School from 1st grade through 8th grade and graduated from Milwaukee High School of the Arts in 1998 where she majored in Dance.

Latoya loved the Lord and began her walk with Christ at The Salvation Army West Corps. During her teen years she was a member of Foundation of Prayer and was also a member of the Unity in The Community Choir. As a young adult Latoya joined Christian Faith Fellowship Church (CFFC) where she served in several areas of ministry.

Latoya had a passion for working with children and she spent most of her career working with them. She last worked at Penfield Children’s Center in Milwaukee, WI, who specialized in providing educational therapy services to children with special needs.

She was blessed with many friends some we knew and others we may not have had the privilege of meeting personally. But we want to sincerely thank each of you for being a special part of her life and for the friendship you shared with her.

Latoya leaves to cherish her memory, parents George Scott and Mary L. Jordan, sisters Natasha L. King, Delechia C. Brown, Shaquilla S. Scott, and Miko (Lavelle) Gill.

Latoya was a strong woman who loved hard, but we are not telling you anything that those who knew her didn’t already know. She will be greatly missed!

Visitation 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with service at 11:00 AM, on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Christian Faith Fellowship Church, 8605 West Good Hope Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Latoya you will be greatly missed. You have a heart of gold. At first I didn't know you were battling your illness when I met you as you would show up to dance practice without showing you had a care in the world. You would always selflessly reach out to me to check on my son who is on Dialysis from 11 years old. You always made sure he was doing ok despite your own fears and worries. Your spirit will always shine bright in my life. Rest easy and continue to DANCE with the ANGELS. Love you Toy 🪀🧸🧸🪀🪀

My deepest condolences to the family and friends. Latoya and I had a special relationship beyond nail tech and client. I can still hear her voice yelling Muffin from across the room to let me know she had arrived. She will be deeply missed. Thoughts and prayers🩷

Although, I did not have the privilege of meeting Toya, I know how deeply she was loved by her sisters. Through her sisters I can see the love, strength and bond they shared. I’m wishing your entire family comfort and peace during this time. May God bless you all.

Toy, I am going to miss you, I already miss you! A piece of our perfect little puzzle is missing. You brought the fun, adventure, and all around fabulousness to our lives. They say I spoiled you, but you were the baby of the family and wore that badge with honor. You were the kindest and most generous of us all, always looking for opportunities to let others know how much they meant to you. No one ever had to wonder if you loved them because you showed them with your words and actions. I was so blessed to be one of those people you loved. You were not just my sister but also my friend and I enjoyed your company. I don’t know who’s going to tell me what cell phone to buy and set it up for me, answer all of my tech questions, or remind me not to take myself too serious.
