Not being on social media occasionally has it’s low points…and this is a major one! Finding about about this is heartbreaking. Lana and I grew up in same neighborhood, and worked together at Phillip Pharmacy…her at little restaurant and me a stock boy. Nothing but great memories from young kids to adults. My condolences to all her family and friends. Everyone loved this lady-and always will! Kevin

I can't imagine how hard this is for Jared and his family. Lana was a wonderful person and companion throughout life for many. Things that happen in life don't always make sense but do serve a purpose in God's eyes. It's so hard to deal with and at times unbearable. Stay strong and keep that faith and as days pass it will get better. May the lord bless your family and lay his hands upon you in this difficult time.

The sweetest smile, the most tender heart, the strongest will. These are the things I will most remember about dear, sweet Lana, taken far too soon from those she loved.

Lana was a burst of light in the world. We met in 1993 through mutual friends and then ended up in the same computer science class in our freshman year of college, laughing together about our lack of understanding of assignments. When my roommate moved out, Lana invited me to be hers and my year as Lana's dorm roommate was one of my most memorable and laugh filled of all my college career. I love you Lana. I am sending so much love to your family who is going to have to figure out life without you physically present (but definitely there forever and ever in spirit)

Lana and I were friends in Highschool. I am so sorry to hear that she is gone from our sight. I have sweet memories of eating what we referred to as "gut rot bars" with her from V. Richards bakery. I worked in the bakery department of V's in high school and would get these bars for my friends and I to share . Rest In Peace dear Lana, I imagine you can enjoy the "gut rot bars" with no gut rot now. Peace and love in Christ to all who walk with grief now in your absence. -Susie (Rand) Grade
