Kristina S. Kellar (nee Strobel), 65, of Pewaukee, Wisconsin passed away on March 1, 2022. Beloved wife of Richard (Rick) Kellar. Kris is survived by her brother Eric (Kim) Strobel, sisters-in-law Susan (Patrick) Marlow and Nancy (Donald) Gillette, brother-in-law Randall (Judith) Kellar, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kris was born in Rochester, Minnesota, studied at Gustavus Adolphus College, and graduated from the University of Missouri. Following a career in medical technology and technical training, she enjoyed time with her animals, nature, and friends in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Kris found and created beauty in so many places. She enjoyed cooking with Rick, as well as dining out and experiencing many different foods. She was an enthusiastic decorator and lover of art, having collected myriad pieces from her travels. She adored fresh flowers and enjoyed them in her gardens, not to mention the bouquets Rick would bring her. Kris was an avid reader of books and materials on many different subjects. Above all else she was passionate about animals. So many dogs and cats called her mom, which she loved and fretted over. Kris was an active member for many years in German Shepherd Rescue Alliance of Wisconsin. She will be dearly missed by the countless people she loved and inspired throughout her life.
