Kevin Paul Ackermann, age 57, of Milwaukee and Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2026, at Aurora Hospital, Grafton. He was born February 7, 1969, the son of Kenneth and Arleen (Schmidt) Ackermann.
He graduated from Custer High School in 1987 and earned his associate degree in Nursing from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1996. He served as a registered nurse at various medical facilities in the greater Milwaukee area for over 30 years.
He married Lorie Beese in 2000 and they enjoyed their time traveling to Europe, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean islands and their favorite spot, their lake home in Northern Wisconsin.
Kevin was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and experiencing nature and all its wonders. Kevin and his brother, David, spent many hours casting their lines attempting to catch the most elusive fish in the cold waters of Wisconsin.
Pheasant hunting was another passion which he enjoyed with his friends and his much-loved dog, Kona. He is survived by his wife, Lorie, his brother, David Ackermann, his mother and father in-law Susan and Gary Beese, sister in-law and brother in-law, Jennifer (Beese) Hiller, Bryan Hiller, their son, Brock, along with other family members and dear friends.
Service will be Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Memorial Lutheran Church, 7701 North Green Bay Avenue, Glendale, WI 53209. Visitation from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. Service at 1:00 PM.
