Kenneth Footland found his peace on Monday, May 6, 2024, age 88. Ken was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Linda. Precious father of Laura and Kristin Footland. My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family and loved ones of Ken Footland. I've known and worked with Ken for MANY years in the Engraving Department at the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel. Memories abound of the fun times we had working together on special projects for various advertisers since Kenny was one of the "premier" scanners transferring color images onto film. I also have to thank Kenny among others for being there when I needed someone when I was an eager apprentice. We've witnessed the advancement of technology of our trade with our coworkers in a mere few years and Ken was right there to meet it head on! I was fortunate to keep in touch with Ken through the Thirty Club at Alioto's Restaurant until Covid ended the monthly get-together. I was happy that a few remaining Engravers got together at times to visit and share old times! Ken will be missed by many!
