Kay Ellen Mudrock

Kay fell asleep on Earth and work up in the arms of Jesus on June 24, 2026.

Born on April 28, 1953, to Herbert and Winifred (nee Bowen) in Muskego, Wisconsin. Married 52 years to the love of her life, John Mudrock. Precious Mother of Lisa (nee Mudrock) (Andrew Werner) and Lori Mudrock. Prized Nana to Gabrielle (Greyson) (Kai Anthony), Alexander, Emma, Hunter and Mya. Loving Great Grandma to Kyrie. She also leaves behind her fur baby Chico, and grand fur babies Patty B., Nova, Luffy and Dexter.  Sister to Charles (D) Pat, Lee (D) Beverly and Don Setzter. Also survived by nieces, nephews and so many friends.

Kay ran her own daycare for over 30 years and in 2007 retired to become a devoted Nana. Kay loved spending time up North with Green Lake being one of her favorite spots. She loved a good day in the lake followed by a big bonfire surrounded by family and friends. She also enjoyed watching the Brewers and Packers.

Kay was all about her family and enjoyed watching her nieces, nephews and grandkids sporting events, music and dance concerts. Kay was also an active member of her church and a youth leader in her younger years.

She had an amazing capacity to love people where they were at and open her heart, arms and home to so many over the years. Our hearts are heavy, but we live with the knowledge that she is with her Lord and Savior and the love of her life.

Visitation from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, with service at 5:00 PM, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin.
