Kathleen Rose Gomez (Nee Weiss)
Entered heaven to join her beloved husband Jose “Tony” on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at age 79.
Loving mother of Josephine (James) Piper, Rosemary (Charlie) Lobeck, Joseph (Julia) Gomez, Greg (Kathy) Gomez, Natalie (Tim) Metke and Lisa (David) Galloway. Beloved grandmother of Sam (Jenni), Leah, Hannah, Charlie, Margaret, Kevin, Gregory, Tony, Tommy, Tyler, MiKayla and Gregory and great-grandson Esbern. Also loved by siblings Diana Deja, Mary Masarik, William Weiss, David Weiss, and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Leonard Weiss and Lorraine Smahel, brother Leonard Weiss and sister Judy Welnak.
Kathleen’s pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She and Tony enjoyed 40 wonderful years of marriage before Tony’s passing. They loved traveling, dancing and raising their children together.
Kathleen was a long-time volunteer at the Oconomowoc Food Pantry and the Oconomowoc YMCA. She also contributed to the Adopt-A-School Program at the Oconomowoc High School. She greatly enjoyed traveling to Puerto Rico every winter to visit family during the coldest part of the Wisconsin winters.
Visitation to be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 10:30-12:30PM with service to follow.
