(nee Zink), 58, of Hartland, passed into Eternal Life on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. She was born to the late Joan and Henry Zink on December 15, 1960 in Syracuse, NY. Kathy attended Rochester Adams High School in Rochester, MI where she was active in marching band. She went on to graduate from Marquette University before receiving her Masters of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from UW-Milwaukee. Kathy married Patrick in 1987 and they lived together in Hartland, WI with their daughter Alexandra. She was passionate about her job as a medical technologist and dearly loved her work friends. She loved to travel and spent every winter relaxing with her husband on some Caribbean beach and the summers out on the motorcycle together. Kathy, Patrick, and Alexandra showed exhibition waterfowl in their free time, with Kathy winning National Champion at the Ohio National Show in 2004 and 2005. She loved fishing at their camp on Oneida Lake in New York, gardening, reading, and relaxing outside surrounded by family with a tasty beverage in hand.
Kathy was a beloved wife of Patrick Halbach of Waterford, WI. Proud mother of Alexandra Halbach. Cherished sister to Valerie Sewall of Syracuse, NY, Alan (Gayle) of Auburn Hills, MI, William (Natalie) of Marshall, VA, Mary-Patricia (Brian) Clemens of Webster, NY, Frances (Michael) Roder of Waukesha, WI, and Michele (Kurt) Riesenberg of Stafford, VA.
