Passed away peacefully on January 27, 2022, at age 71. Beloved wife of the late Dennis Schumacher. Loving mother of Lori Schumacher, Thomas (Theresa) Schumacher, Tamie (Dustin) Hollenbeck, and LeAnn Schumacher. Proud grandmother of Lilly, Nicholas, and Violet Schumacher. Dear sister of Marilyn (Guy) Bergum. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Kathie was a daycare provider for 43 years and was so giving of herself to others — especially the little children. She was also a Mary Kay consultant for 30 years. Kathie devoted her life to others and was passionate about helping everyone she knew.

Memorial Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM. Memorial Service at 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the American Cancer Society.

Kathy was a loving, caring and very creative girl. Family was her crown and glory. She loved much and many loved her. Kathy was an excellent role model to family, friends and to the many children who had the privilege to be cared for by her. I especially appreciated Kathie’s great sense of humor. She had a way of uplifting the mood in a room. Kathie rocked our Red Hat group. She was the fashion queen with excellent taste in the latest Red Hat fashions. She was beautiful inside and outside. She walked in Joy and I will miss her indeed.
