Emanuele, Katherine Mary “Kathy”
Entered Eternal Life on Monday, April 20th, 2026, at age 78, surrounded by the love of her family. Preceded in death by Mark Clore, her parents, Mable and Vincent Bruno and John Emanuele. Loving wife of Gary Sneider for 39 years. Beloved mother of Vince (Laura) Clore, and Andrea (Joe) Sucharda. Proud grandmother of Liam and Aviana. Kind stepmother of Cher and Erica Sneider (Charlie, Chloe and Annie). Dear sister, cousin, aunt, colleague and friend to so many.
Born in Milwaukee and raised as an east-sider, she attended St. Rita’s grade school and St. Joan Antida High School. She attended UW-Milwaukee to pursue her Bachelor’s in education and later received her Master’s degree at Cardinal Stritch. She spent her entire 31-year career in various roles from regular education to special education teacher, to diagnostician and beyond with Milwaukee Public Schools. During her tenure at MPS, she cultivated a network of lifelong friendships. She and Gary, along with her children, settled in New Berlin in 1987. Together, Kathy and Gary loved to travel, gamble, and socialize. In 2008, they became snowbirds in North Fort Myers and resided in the Tamiami Village Retirement Community where she enjoyed serving on the board and helped plan many events and dances or leading a fitness group in the community hall.
Kathy had a big personality that compensated for her short stature. She was fun-loving, determined, and cherished those closest to her. Her bright light brought joy to her work and social events throughout her life. She was very creative, from painting to stained glass, to jewelry-making and furniture- refinishing. She loved dressing up in character, whether it was Halloween, a themed party, or a teacher in-service. She made Italian meatballs like no other. She touched countless lives from the children and adults she taught to her dear friends and beloved family and had a special way of bringing her creativity to every aspect of her life.
Mom, you will always be loved, remembered, and missed. Love you to the moon and back!
