(Nee Wendt) Born to Eternal Life on November 4, 2022, at age 86.

Beloved mother of Karen (Steve) Schaefer and Keith (Chris) Marquardt. Proud grandmother of Tyler, Garrett (Brigitte), and Lucas (Shelbi). Great-grandmother of Claire Schaefer and Fenrir Marquardt. Dear sister of Dorothy (the late Robert) Martens and Margaret Steinke. Also loved by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Maxwell and Helen Wendt.

Kathy retired from TDI Associates after 30+ years of service. She was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church in Pewaukee, where she loved singing in the choir and making quilts for babies. Kathy loved spending time with her grandkids, sewing, gardening, and canning applesauce. She always looked forward to family gatherings at the holidays — family was her number one priority.

Memorial Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield on Sunday, November 13, from 2:00 PM – 3:45 PM. Memorial Service at 4:00 PM.

I have so many fond memories of my aunt Kathy. I will never forget all of the family gatherings through out the years, ones from when I was still a child myself all the way to gatherings for my own children. Aunt Kathy would never miss any of them. She had always supported my decision to have a large family and I could just feel the genuine happiness she had for me when I would see her play with one of my kids or hold one of the babies. My aunt Kathy will always be one of the most kind hearted people I have known. Sadly I was not able to see or spend time with her these last five years as I had moved out of state but would have loved nothing more than to have just one more visit with her and hear that contagious laugh she had. I love you Aunt Kathy!!
