On September 6, 1963, Karen was born and lived a full, bold, and beautiful life. From her early days as a daughter and sister, she carried strength, loyalty, and a deep love for her family. Known for her feisty spirit, she was never afraid to speak her mind—Karen always kept it real, always stayed true to who she was.
Throughout her life, she worked many roles with pride. She was a teacher who inspired, a bartender who connected with everyone she met, and a jack of all trades who could figure out just about anything. She loved traveling, and she found peace in fishing, embracing every moment of quiet joy and adventure.
Karen had a heart that made room for everyone. As a foster mom, she opened her home to children who needed love and stability. She was also the proud mother of one daughter and the devoted grandmother of one granddaughter—her greatest joys and her proudest accomplishments.
She loved deeply, lived honestly, and left a legacy of strength, truth, and compassion. Karen will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
