So many memories with Jym as our drama coach, show director and theater mensch. I was a pill to deal with back then in High School and she turned myself and other miscreants around to start to become real people. Unforgettable moments include my suit catching fire during "Kiss Me Kate" and me nearly being burnt to a crisp. Bucket of water from the Stage Manager quelled it. Also recall many, many out of control times in Improv Class. Jym had a silver gym whistle she would blow when we went over the top, which was nearly every time. I recall clearly doing a "doctor" scene w. Nick Kestle, Nick Weidenhoeft & John Horn. It was winter & Horn had stuffed his scarf down his pants, but no one could tell until he turned around. Jym hit her whistle with gusto ending the scene; the entire class was in stitches. "Will endeavor" and "You are my sunshine" have stuck with me forever. I have so much to be thankful for that Ms. Clark enabled. She was truly magical. I've never met anyone like her since, and don't think I ever will. Thank you for the lovely memorial gathering; so nice seeing Kevin & Celi and the family and the great pictures you gathered. She means so much to so many; I don't think Memorial High School had a teacher before or after her that was so incredible. Now, I feel so very lucky to have known her and the Clark clan. God bless.

Jym was a good friend, neighbor, and fellow gardener. We often shared plants; and sometimes we'd say "Jym, you'll need to be careful, this one is pretty but it spreads so fast you may regret it!" And she always said "I don't care! I'll take it anyway." We'd dig it up and later see it taking off in her garden. Jyms love and kindness was like those flowers. Pretty, strong, and spreading all over. It will last in our hearts for many seasons. Laverne, Nancy, and Bill

I'm a custodian at Whitnall High School...been in the district since 1990. From time to time I would pass Jym in the hallway and she would always acknowledge me...she was very professional and kind! She will be dearly missed!

My deepest sympathies to the entire family. Jym was one of a kind! I had the honor and privilege to teach with her at Waunakee High School. She inspired students and staff alike with her enthusiasm, humor, and passion. She will be missed by many. So sorry for your loss.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
