Rocky, Ron Schmidt left a message on January 3, 2024:
Humble condolences to Judy's family on your loss. My name is Rocky Schmidt. I grew up on the east side of milwaukee and knew the family for a while. I remember going with Johnny, as i knew him then, to carry his dads lunch down to where he worked at Cornell Paper Plant singing the Marines Hymn all the way. We sometimes stopped to look over a red Citroen 3 wheeled car that was always parked on the sidewalk. John and Judy were the first twins i remembered knowing. My sister Linda is the same age as they are and knew Judy better than I, but it was the family's commitment to the Marines that i remember most. It was certainly a sign of the times as our family served in scouting and the V.F.W., where Linda works to this day, like Judy 51 years. I see a pattern. We can thank our parents for instilling this in us and know our lives were bettered because of their efforts. So, Grace and Peace to you and yours. Thanks for the memories. Rocky
