Passed away peacefully and is reunited with her husband, John, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the age of 96. Loving Mother of Jeff (Marja), Judd (Jill), Janet (Jim) Wolfenberg, Judie (Paul) McGhee and Jay (Dawn). Proud Grandmother of Marika, Jonna, Petra (Rob), Bennett, Matt, Jordan (Sarah), Jenna (Paul), Joann (Nate), Jake (Megan), Kristyn (Ryan), Jake (Kaleigh), Kacie (Mike), Luke (Katie), Ellie (Michael), Alex, Kevin (Amanda) and Kira. Great Grandma of 26. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Joyce found joy in the simple pleasures that made life special. She loved knitting, spending countless hours creating handmade pieces for friends, family, and the church. She also enjoyed gambling at a casino just for the thrill of trying her luck. Joyce had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs. Her love for dogs was one of her defining passions. As an adult, she had the opportunity to welcome many beloved canine companions into her home, treating each one as family. Her gentle nature and compassionate heart made her a friend to every dog she met, but Jo Jo is the dog that captured her heart for life.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Monday, April 27, 2026, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Funeral Service at 11:15 AM. Burial will be held privately at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
