Joseph Allen McNamara passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 18, 2021, at the age of 32.
He was much loved by his parents, Don and Judy (nee Grinyer) McNamara, his siblings, Donna (Adam) Larson, Nathan McNamara, and the late Jonathan McNamara. He was ‘Uncle Joe’ to his four nephews: James, Henry, Oliver, and William Larson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen and Dolores Grinyer, and John and Verona McNamara as well as his younger brother, Jonny.
He is fondly remembered by the Grinyer and McNamara families as well as staff and friends at Hawthorne House and Wisconsin Adult Center.
We miss Joe’s quick smiles, big hugs and contagious laughter. Walks to Cousins and McDonald’s will never be the same. Joe always let you know what he liked (and what he didn’t!) Some of his favorite things included Barney (both the dinosaur and the sheriff’s deputy), blue towels and music of all kinds.
While we dearly miss Joe, we rejoice knowing he is with Jesus, immersed in God’s love. He has left his wheelchair behind and is finally able to walk and talk, dance and sing.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Friday, March 5, 2021, from 1:00 PM with a prayer service at 1:30 PM.
