Passed away peacefully on January 22, 2017, at the age of 74. Loving husband of the late Sandra (nee Wysocki). Devoted father of Douglas (Renee), Kimberly Rank, Jenny (William) Cox, and the late Daniel. Proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Brother of Michael (Ladonne). To the family of Jack Scherer..I was so very saddened to hear of Jack's passing. I learned of it today..and couldn't believe it. I remember so many times my family and Jack and Mike's family would spend time together at Army Lake for picnics in the summers and visit each other's homes when we were kids. My dad Gilbert and Jack's dad Johnny were great friends as well as cousins. Our mothers..Anne and Marge were friends too. I live in Crivitz, WI now and had no way to find out about Jack's passing. I stood up for Sandy and Jack's wedding and now they are both gone. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that God has reunited Jack and Sandy in heaven. Sincerely Gail (Scherer) Wegner
