Of Waukesha, passed away on November 2, 2016, at age 66.

John is predeceased by his parents, John and Blanche Kirch and his first wife Laurie Kirch.

John is survived by his loving wife Jeanne of 19 years.  John is lovingly remembered by his siblings Laurie (Ernest) Kretschmann and Fred (Christine) Kirch; his children Jenny (Mark) Oium , Joel (Meredith) Kirch, and Anna (Kristie) Kirch; stepchildren Wesley (Traci) Morris and Andrea (Matt) Morris; his grandchildren Evan, John David, Parker, Cameron, McKenzie, Kaitlyn, Kevin, Rayce, Keyton and Emily; loving nieces and nephews; other relatives; and his dog Reagan and Brett the cat.

John was born in Milwaukee in 1950. He graduated from West Allis Central High School. He served in the United States Army Reserve, honorably discharged in 1974. He worked as a manager at Safety-Kleen in Lexington, SC and New Berlin, WI for 47 years and recently retired this year.

John enjoyed riding his Harley and was an active member of KMC HOG Chapter. He especially loved spending time with his family and pets.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin,  Friday, November 4, 2016  from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Additional visitation at St. Leonard Catholic Church W173 S7743 Westwood Drive, Muskego, on Saturday at 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
