Most of my memories of John are of him generously and patiently driving the boat as I fell over and over attempting to water ski at Lynn Ann’s Campground. He knew I was scared to fall and I was worried he’d get sick of letting me try to get up. But he didn’t and he cheered me on. He was super supportive and kind with a big laugh and as a kid that had a positive impact on me.
