John H. Koch, 94, of Milwaukee passed away peacefully on September 13, 2021. Loving husband of 47 years to the late Rosalie (nee Goronja). Devoted father of three daughters, Pamela Benson, Terry (Howard) Humer and Debra (Erwin) Sadowski. Proud grandfather of Daniel Sandlin, Matthew (Heather) Kohls, Ashley (Carlos) Ramos and Grant Sadowski. Great-grandfather of Carlitos, Jeslin, Lilianna and Mateo. Step-grandfather to Joe (Amy) Humer and step great-grandfather to Grayson. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Joan Cincotta, Patricia (August) Cincotta, Carol Magnowski, Euince Goronja and many nieces and nephews. Caring companion to Barbara Anderson.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna (nee Haberkorn) Koch; in-laws, Steve and Caroline Goronja; sisters, Anna (Conrad) Jahn and Eleanor (Norbert) Bertling; brothers-in-law, Conrad Jahn, Norbert Bertling, Richard Goronja, Thomas Cincotta and Phil Magnowski.
John retired from Harley Davidson after 40 plus years. He was enthusiastic about hunting and fishing. He was always there whenever a family member or friend was in need.
John was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. He was generous with his time and will be missed by all.
The family would like to thank Juliann and Fatima from Horizon Healthcare Inc., along with caregivers Irene and Betty for their excellent and loving care of John.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 2:00 PM – 3:45 PM. Service to follow at 4:00 PM. A reception downstairs will follow the service. Burial on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 11:00AM at Highland Memorial Park, please meet near the front entrance.
