John Bernard Beiswenger passed away unexpectedly at his home in Hartford, WI and was received into Heaven on September 28, 2026 at the age of 60.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Juli Ann, his mother Patricia Lorbiecki, siblings Christine (Jeff) Brettingen, Kathy (Gary) Versteegh, Karen (Thomas) Hayostek, Tom (Stephanie) Beiswenger, Denise (Kent) Patten, his children John Paul (Traci) Beiswenger, Jennifer (Nathan) Buseman, granddaughter Rory Buseman and grandson Grayson Beiswenger. Also loved by his step-mother, Kathy, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Bernard Beiswenger, step-father Vern Lorbiecki, and sibling Jace Beiswenger.
John was born in Racine, WI on November 5, 1965. He graduated from Vincent High School in Milwaukee in June 1983. After high school, he worked various jobs, including starting his own painting business. He also joined the Army Reserve, where he served until his honorable discharge in November 1996. John followed in his father’s footsteps, beginning a 39-year career as an Elevator Mechanic for various companies in the Elevator Industry. He retired from Schindler Elevator on May 1, 2025. He met his wife in 2012 and married on July 12, 2014 at Peace Lutheran Church, where they were members of the congregation.
John was a devoted family man who loved his family unconditionally. He was a devoted husband to Juli Ann, cherished dad to John Paul and Jennifer, beloved son of Patricia and Bernard, loving brother to Christine, Kathy, Karen, Tom, Jace and Denise, and proud Grandpa to Rory and Grayson. John had a kind and generous heart and was always willing to help anyone who needed him. He gave freely of himself, never hesitating to lend a hand, offer support, or simply be there when someone needed him. He loved nature, wildlife and always seemed to be amazed at the beautiful flowers God has created. He also had a wonderful sense of humor, always knowing how to lighten the mood and make people laugh. His kindness, laughter and love for his family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Visitation on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin from 11:00 AM-12:45 PM. Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park to follow.
