Survived by loving parents John and Nancy, brother Michael (Nancy) and devoted sister Lisa. Also niece Katherine (Matt) Scallon and their children David and Sophia and nephew and Godchild Michael John and his son Anthony. Also survived by devoted aunt and Godmother Carol (Donald) Reinbold and many counsins.
Jay will be met in Heaven by his loyal and loving dog Sandy.
John went to Marquette University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at Northrop Grumman in Illinois where he had security clearance to work on the Stealth Bomber. He most recently worked at Unit Drop Forge in West Allis.
John enjoyed the outdoors and loved water skiing, golf and bowling. After his first trip to Hawaii he was bitten by the travel bug and vacationed in Mexico several years in a row.
Thank you to the staff at Zilber Hospice for their gentle care and making John’s final days peaceful.
Visitation will be on June 11, 2026 at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, 18255 West Capital Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Mass to follow at 12:00 PM. A private burial for immediate family will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
