Joetta Brown, 74, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Joetta devoted her life to her family, always offering wisdom, comfort, and a warm presence that made every gathering feel like home. She was the proud and devoted mother of her beloved daughter, Eboni Brown, who was her greatest joy and constant source of pride. Their bond was deep, unbreakable, and rooted in unconditional love.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.

Joetta is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Claudette Smith, Gregory McNeil, Marilyn McNeil, Francine Harris, and Joseph McNeil. Each carries cherished memories of her warmth, resilience, sense of humor, and the way she could brighten any room simply by being herself.

Known for her kindness and generous spirit, Joetta had a remarkable gift for making others feel seen, valued, and loved. She touched the lives of countless family members, friends, neighbors, and members of her community. Whether offering words of encouragement, a listening ear, or a helping hand, she gave freely of herself and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Though she will be deeply missed, Joetta’s love, faith, and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
