For years I sat behind Joann in church. she was always beautifully dressed and one day i made a comment on how i admired her. We got to be friends and always tried to get a chance to chat after church. I wish I had gotten to know her better. I liked her a lot. She will be missed.

Joanne and I were high school friends. We went to games, sock hops, the beach and when in college, we found out our high school choir director was the music director at a Lutheran church in Milwaukee, so met there Sunday evenings to sing along with the choir. We lost touch as I went on to earn graduate degrees o become an univesyrt professor and administrator and she to work as a missionary nurse. My best to her children and grandchildren. I feel your loss.
