Joan C. Wilke, age 88, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at her home in Waukesha.

Joan is survived by her sister, Diane (Marty) Miller; her niece and godchild, Bridget (Paul) Novak; and her nephew, Todd (Sherri) Nimmer; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill.

Joan loved going up to the North Woods, and wildlife, and her love of flowers and going to Eberts Garden Center, her happy place.

We loved Joan and will miss her very much. Her smile and the way she brightened your day with a hug and words of praise along with her cute humor will never be forgotten. She treated our daughter Sierra like her own family, along with all of us at Ebert's Greenhouse Village. She brought joy whenever she would come to visit and always thought of others with her cards, gifts, and the traditions that she started, God sure blessed everyone that knew her love and friendship.
