1943 – 2024
Jill was born on November 28, 1943 in Milwaukee to Stephen and Marie (nee Thompson) Adler. She was a 1962 graduate of Pius XI High School. She owned her own cleaning business for over 20 years. She was a hard worker who had side jobs often. She had an enthusiasm for life. She loved to participate in Al’s Run and also participated in several bike-a-thons. Jill loved animals and had many dogs through the years. She also loved working in her flower garden; like to draw, travel, and take an abundance of photos. She never felt sorry for herself; was never negative; and, always kept her sense of humor. Family was first with Jill. She was a giving person and always seemed happy. You rarely saw her without a smile. She felt you were never fully dressed without a smile. She lived simply and had everything she wanted. She is the strongest person her son, Patrick, knew and was his hero.
She is survived by her son, Patrick, grandson Christopher, granddaughter Marley and siblings Stephen (Lovella) Adler of Naalehu, HI; Jacqueline Rudolph of Prairie Village, KS; Colleen (Mike) Schneider of The Villages, FL; and Michael (Jean) Adler of Las Vegas, NV. Also surviving are many Nieces, Great Nieces, Nephews and Great Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Grinolds; a brother, Dan Adler, a brother-in-law, James Rudolph; and a niece, Sonja Schneider.
Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday, April 4, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Service at 12:00 PM. Committal to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
