With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jean McGregor Reuss on February 27, 2025, at the age of 68.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Reuss, and her parents, Richard and Carolyn Koch. She is survived by her children, Sarah (Rob) Meyer and Andrew (Crystal) Reuss, and her grandchildren, Caleb Meyer, Naomi Meyer, and Lillian Reuss. Jean is also survived by her sister, Jamie (Lee) Mossige, and brothers, Rick (Mary) Koch and Jack (Jill) Koch, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins who held a special place in her heart.
Jean spent over three decades as a dedicated sales representative in the corrugated packaging industry, working primarily with Packaging Corporation of America and Guardian Container.
Above all, Jean’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories through crafts, baking, cooking, and sewing. She and Bob shared a love for the outdoors, spending countless summers camping along the eastern shore of Lake Superior and making frequent trips to the Smoky Mountains, a place that always felt like home. In the summers Jean spent time in her beautiful gardens. Jean’s warmth and love will continue to shine through her family as they carry on the cherished traditions she lovingly established, especially during the holiday season—her favorite time of year.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Neuro-Oncology team at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, as well as Brighton Hospice and Zilber Family Hospice, for their compassionate care and support.
Jean’s love, kindness, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A gathering to celebrate Jean and Robert’s (spouse) life will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Saturday, March 8, from 10:00 AM – 12:15 PM, with a memorial service at 12:30 PM.
