Kathy Koch left a message on March 8, 2025:
Family, this is such a hard loss! I wish I knew Sarah and Rob and Andrew and Crystal and your children. I'm sure you're beautiful people because of the influence Jean and Bob had on you. I have the best memories of being with Jean, Jamie, Rick, and Jack (and Bob, Lee, Mary, and Jill). We mattered so much to each other when we were young and I'm sorry we haven't been able to continue seeing each other. That doesn't mean my heart is different to any of you. There's much I could write about Jean and Bob, but I'll just share this. With Dave and I living far from our mom, we were blessed by how they served our mom. Every spring for several years, they shopped for her requested flowers and brought them and fresh potting soil to her apartment and helped her plant them in her pots on her balcony. I remember her excitement when she would call me to tell me they had been there. She described their kindness and the plants. Jean and Bob sacrificially serving my mom demonstrated their love and respect for family and their character. I loved them and I'll be praying for you all to grieve well.
Dave and Debbie Koch left a message on March 8, 2025:
Dear Sarah and Rob, Andrew and Crystal, Caleb, Naomi, and Lillian, and Jamie & Lee, Rick & Mary, and Jack & Jill, Debbie and I wish we could be there with you today. Family is important, and Jean & Bob made family a priority. They should be commended for a number of reasons today, but their commitment to family is probably the most important. And may God bring all of you heartwarming memories of the two of them that you never forget. Into adulthood but even growing up, I remember Jean having a calmness, elegance, and maturity about her. In marriage to Bob, I think it was helpful that Bob was also responsible but in a more "playful" way. May today be a joyous remembrance and celebration of the lives of two fine people. "Let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe." Hebrews 12:28b. 2 Corinthians 9:15. Romans 5:15 With love and respect, Dave Koch

John Hadler left a message on March 3, 2025:
I first met Jean in 1987-(88??) when she was a rep for PCA. We needed a redesign for a shipping box for our company. I distinctly remember our first meeting as she was pregnant, yet, there she was, crawling around on the floor as we worked on the layout. That was Jean! Over the years we became friends and I recall many meetings and lunches with her over the years as we discussed business, as well as our families and life in general. She was a pleasure to know all those years ago, ---- one of those very special people one is privileged to meet! My sincere condolences to the family, she will be missed. John Hadler
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Sheryl Zaun left a message on March 3, 2025:
Jean and I met about 1980. I was the purchasing manager of Dakota Bake'n Serv, Jamestown, ND. She was my rep for corrugated containers. Besides being a true professional, she became a friend. Over the years we lost contact but picked up where we left off four years ago. I was saddened when I heard of her brain tumor and then Bob's illness. They were true life partners and now in death! My prayers go out to the family!
