Jane C. Baldus

Jane C. Baldus (née Flynn), age 79, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

A woman of immense joy and spunk, Jane will be remembered for her love of family, friends and travel. She was also just a little bit fancy and made even fishing in the Canadian wilderness look good.

Jane shared 40 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Ned EF Baldus. Together, they lived life to the fullest, enjoying decades defined by love, adventure, and laughter.

She was a loving and devoted mother to Julie (Scott) Larsen, John (Deanna) Shinners and Becky (Jon) Sweeten and step-mother to Beth (Bob) Minor and Jeff Baldus.

Jane was also the most amazing grandma ever to Danielle, Nick, Noe, Ben, Carter, Jenna, Lilly and Nate.

She is also survived by siblings Mary (Jim) Peters, Dan (Esther) Flynn, Tim (Pam) Flynn and Meg Flynn.

Jane was preceded in death by brother John (Barbara) Flynn and her parents John and Mary (McGavock) Flynn.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 3970 North 92nd Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53222. A memorial Mass will begin at 12:00 PM.

A private family burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Joan Antida High School in Jane’s honor.
