My thoughts and prayers are with the family of James Lau during this time of grief. Jim and his good friend Jim Z hunted on my place in South Dakota, on a yearly basis for over 25 years. We became friends over the years and i respected his passion and his love of the outdoors and the sport of a good pheasant hunt. He loved to watch his dogs work, when they hunted on my place. He enjoyed the dogs working for the birds more than the actual hunt. I will miss Jim a lot, I always had a lot of respect for hunters like Jim. I think he truly enjoyed the hunt and did not mind if he got his limit everyday or not. ' Rest in Peace Jim!!! Mark (Lucky Dog Hunts Inc.)

So sorry to hear about Jim’s passing. I’ll always remember our days on Root River Parkway (him and my brother Grant were buddies).

I'll never forget how you always made me feel like part of the family. The times you only charged a nickel to use the tanning bed always made me chuckle. Your sense of humor will be greatly missed. Sending love and comfort to the Lau family. Hugs to you all! Nickel 💞
