






































































James “Jim” Novak, of New Berlin, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 8, 2025, age 60. He leaves behind his wife Jean, two sons Nick and Michael, and his 4 grandchildren. Jim is further survived by his siblings Lisa, Tracy, Trish, and Jeff, followed by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Jim was born to Wesley Novak and Judy Novak-Hess (nee Nelson) on May 20, 1965.
Jim would later join and proudly serve our country in the United States Army, earning the rank of Sergeant. His son Nick would later follow in his footsteps and serve in the United States Air Force. Jim would also go on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, obtaining his degree in Electrical Engineering. He would go on to work at AT&T for 27 years and retire thereafter.
On August 17, 1997, Jim was married to Jean (nee Stoehr) after meeting while working at AT&T. In addition to his marriage, having children and grandchildren brought Jim great joy, along with his beloved German Shepherds.
Jim was a proud veteran, who also enjoyed motorcycle rides with Jean, the Milwaukee Air Show, trips to Florida, and cooking a good steak. Jim will be missed by all who loved him dearly.
A private gathering was held at Krause Funeral Home, followed by a private interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
