Dear Linda, My brother John sent me Jim's Obituary this morning. I am so sorry to learn that you have lost your husband of over 60 years. That is a huge loss in your life. I did not know much of Jim's background, but he surely left a huge impact on those who knew him well. Please accept my condolences. You will be OK eventually. I was married 35 years to Rob. Eventually I came out on the other side of grief, but I had to let grief take its course. Peace to you.

One of the nicest guys and caring person you will meet. Plus, he was “pretty” good at laying carpet…❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I am so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. He was always an inspiration to me. As a young ball player, he took me under his wing and instilled confidence in me that I will never forget. I’m sorry that I will be out of state for his service, but my thoughts and prayers will be with you all. Please accept my deepest condolences. May he rest in peace.

Jimmy was like a brother to my brother Donnie since they were boys. Jimmy's dad would take them hunting and they were friends through Vietnam and Donnie worked at Jimmy and Linda's carpet store at the beach. My sister Christine would go as the third party on dates with them cause I guess she would have to verify these stories. He treated me like a little sister and I always knew I could count on both Jimmy and Linda for carpet needs and so many funny things through the years that Jimmy would say to me. He was funny and kind and strong and we all are broken hearted to say goodbye to him. God Bless Linda and the boys and their wives and kids.
