Celebration of Life.

Jacob G. Rapp, Jr. “Jack” passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the age of 67. Jack is survived by his wife Sharon; children Amy Wilcock, Jeremy Barber (Marci) and Miranda Gajewski (Joe). Proud Grandpa of Vayda, Maddison, Trevor, Kenadee, Wyatt and Grayson. Dear Brother of Karen Vermilion (Troye) and Brother-in-Law of Ronald Puariea (Bernie) and Terri Koziczkowski (Myron). Jack will be missed as well by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Joan, and brothers Bob and Tom.

Jack retired from the Milwaukee County Transit System. Earlier employment included glass bending for Everbrite Sign Company, which evolved into one of his hobbies. Jack enjoyed camping, movies and attending his grandchildren’s activities.

Please remember Jack as a gentle soul, who preferred a hug to a handshake. He has been referred to as a “Big Teddy Bear”. For those fortunate enough to have known him…focus on the fun-loving big goof that he was. He would not want us to be sad.

“Do not be sad that he is gone, be happy that he lived”.

Memorial Gathering at Krause Funeral Home 12401 West National Avenue New Berlin, Wisconsin on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM. Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1:00 PM.

I am glad to call him my step brother even though I am much younger and did not grow up with him. My favorite memory is when he, Sharon, Mandy, and Jeremy came to visit Arizona and I rode with them up Superstition Mountains. I told them it was a great highway but they soon learned it was narrow rode with many views looking down the side of mountain to valleys far below. Sorry for tricking you and your wonderful family Jack. I can’t wait to join you someday in paradise for eternity.
