Holly Tidyman passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024, at the age of 71. Holly was born on January 19, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Holly worked at the Brookfield Post Office for 23 years where she made many friends and met her loving husband, Orin Tidyman.

Though Holly made a career out of being a postal carrier, her true life’s work and passion was caring for her children JJ (Danielle) Ament, Heather (Jason) Ostrowski, Nick (Megan) Ament, and Mike (Roxanne) Ament. Holly also enjoyed every opportunity to visit with her four grandchildren and her grand-dogs.

Holly spent her retirement years painting, gardening, reading, and enjoying the lake life where she met many more friends.

Holly was a generous person and all that were lucky enough to be one of her people or pets, felt that generosity and love.

Visitation to be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, WI 53151). Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Emma Loves Dogs Foundation, in her name. The Emma Loves Dogs Foundation helps animals, which Holly deeply cared for and often donated to, through grants to support local police K-9 units and animal shelters.

I only met Holly a couple years ago but immediately felt connected. Loved talking with her about books - she was smart and very funny. Will miss her at the lake.

Holly was such a kind soul with a generous heart . The world is a sadder place without her. I will miss my friend. My love and prayers are with Orin and her children.

We always looked forward to chatting with Holly when we were visiting at Druid Lake. She will be remembered as a kind and loved neighbor who always had a fun story to share. Sending our love.
