Helen Stevens (nee Czarnik)

Entered God’s Loving Arms on Thursday, May 18, 2023, age 82. Loving Mom of Jeff (Regina) Stevens, Robert (Diane) Stevens and Connie (Brian) Landsgaard. Proud Grandma of Thomas “Tommy” (Amanda), Kristopher and Mark. Great-Grandma of Logan, Rosie and Mekhi. Sister of Josephine “Jo” Czarnik. Sister-in-law of Karen Czarnik. Aunt of Melissa (Eric). Also survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Lyle “Dusty”, her parents Steve and Josephine, brother Steve Czarnik and nephew Aaron Czarnik.

Helen was a member at St. Agnes Catholic Church for over 50 years. Helen’s last trip was with a group of Christians on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. She enjoyed working in her yard planting flowers and growing vegetables. She was very active with golf, skiing and traveling with family and friends. Helen was an avid Wisconsin Sport fan, you would find her watching the Brewers, Packers or Bucks when they were on. She loved her family and was proud watching her grandchildren in whatever they did. Helen will be dearly missed by her family and everybody she encountered.

Visitation will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 12801 West Fairmount Avenue, Butler, WI 53007, on Thursday, May 25, 2023, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery – Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
