(Nee BABIASZ) Passed into Eternal Life on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Age 92. Wife of the late Williard Jacobs. Mother of Jacqueline (Tom Lueders) Jacobs and Lori (William) Eilers. Aunt of James (Pam) Babisz, Robert (Ursula) Babiasz, Kathy (Rick) Sarauer, Judy Babiasz, Carl (Susan) Babiasz, Barbara Nisbit, Bruce Babiasz, and Brian (Jeanne) Babiasz. Also loved by other relatives and friends.
Born in Milwaukee, Helen also lived in Grafton and Muskego. She met Willard Jacobs and they were married June 12, 1948. Together they had two daughters, Jackie and Lori. Helen’s past occupations include being a housewife, office worker, and entrepreneur. Helen had a number of unusual jobs. She joined her husband’s magic act as his “sparkling assistant” and later as the clown, “Razzle Dazzle.” She holds a Clown degree from Concordia College.
Helen always enjoyed being involved in groups and has been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Red Hats Society, as well as an active member of her local senior meal site group in Muskego. Helen also ran a successful Christmas Eve Santa Claus service sharing Christmas Eve with some families for so many years they watched the children grow up.
Helen loved all forms of music and played first chair saxophone in Custer High School’s band and orchestra.
After retirement, Helen became the “Pet Granny” opening the family home to dogs and cats whose owners wanted a stress free, more comfortable place for their pets to stay than a kennel. Helen made sure that each “guest pet” felt like a member of her family and enjoyed their own vacation while their owners were away.
Helen especially loved Catrina, her pure white cat, who now lives with her daughter, Jackie.
