Helen (née Gutschenritter) (June 6, 1934 – February 14, 2026)

Robert (March 8, 1932 – February 20, 2026)

After 67 wonderful years of marriage, Bob and Helen Gaertner passed away just six days apart — together in life and nearly inseparable in death.

Loving parents of Joe (Diane), Andy (Vicki), Chris (Wendy), and Heidi. Grandparents of Sam, Jaime (Pablo), Peter (Caitlin), and Mia.

Bob built his career at Hypneumat Inc., eventually serving as Vice President and was respected for his leadership and integrity.

Helen was a dedicated nurse, and an avid baker who lovingly shared her treats with family and friends.

Together, Bob and Helen shared a love of sailing and were longtime members of South Shore Yacht Club. Whether on the water or at home, they did everything side by side, embodying partnership, devotion, and enduring love.

They were deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew them.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 9:30AM – 11:00 AM at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, 18255 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin. Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM.
