Harold D. Darst, Jr. – Died peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the age of 90, and is now reunited with his wife Arlene.

Harold is the proud father of Gary Darst, Tom (Sheila) Darst, Brian (Lorri) Darst and Donna (Jon) Suminski. Loving grandpa of Felicia, Nicholas (Becky), T.J. (Jamie) and Meghan and great grandpa of Kayla, Kirra (Michael), Brantley and Alia, and great great grandpa of Miracle. Further survived by siblings; Joyce, Beatrice and Kenneth as well as other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Kathleen and Jimmy.

Harold proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM. Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. Placement to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I first met Mr. Darst when he traveled to Vegas for my niece’s wedding, not long after the death of his wife, Arlene, and him telling my parents how happy he was that his son had found somebody like my sister Lorri. I enjoyed the couple times of watching the Brewers and the Packers at Lorri and Brian’s house with Mr Darst. He was a man who wanted his kids and grandkids to be happy. Rest in Peace: My deepest condolences to the family.
