Hans G. Ericsson

Hans G. Ericsson passed away peacefully on September 8th, 2026 at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife, his daughter and son, his son-in-law, three granddaughters, one brother, and additional family and friends around the world.

Hans was born in Sweden and lived there until the early 1980s when he then accepted a position with ASEA (now known as ABB). When the company began operating in the United States, he decided to move to Wisconsin to help with the start-up of the joint venture. He was a part of the engineering management team with ABB for over 50 years.

He was an excellent cook, especially loving to prepare traditional Swedish foods. He served in the Swedish military as a staff sergeant radio operator. He was an avid traveler, a hard-working gentleman, and a lover of all animals. His greatest accomplishment was being a husband, a father, grandfather, and friend.

A gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Sunday September 27, 2026 from 2:00 PM-3:30 PM. His memorial service will begin at 3:30 PM.
