Glorine Dawn Becker, age 84, passed away on December 23, 2017 at the Horizon Hospice, a caring and loving facility in Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital. From her birth in Wooster, Ohio on February 28, 1933 to her death, she nourished everyone around her with her love, faith, and generosity.
Glorine was one of seven children from the Stanley family in Wooster, Ohio. She grew up on a farm surrounded by the horses she adored. She moved to Milwaukee for work in 1954. She soon met Jerome (Jerry) E. Becker and the two were married on November 29, 1958. Glorine assisted Jerry in his successful optometric practice, together they had three sons and four daughters. They built the family home on Range Line Road in Glendale in 1966, and raised their numerous children and grandchildren in it until 2009. Glorine and Jerry enjoyed traveling together as well as spending time with family and friends. After Jerry’s passing in 2005, Glorine moved to Saukville to be closer to family.
She is survived by her children David (Lori) Becker, Beth (Scott) Kleba, Amy Becker, William (Kristi) Becker, Glorine (Philip) Neitzel, Caroline Jupp, and Gregory (Georgine) Becker, along with her eight grandchildren Amanda Smith, Sean Roscoe, Paul Becker, Stephanie Neitzel, Timothy Jupp, Shannon Roscoe, Cierra Neitzel, and Daniel Jupp. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry, her parents, and her six siblings.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitoll Drive, Brookfield on Friday, December 29, from 10:00-1145 AM. Funeral service at 12:00 PM. Private burial at Resurrection Cemetery.
