Gloria Fox

Gloria Diane Fox was a beautiful baby girl born on October 1st, 1962 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to her proud and loving mother Alberta Gordon.

Gloria accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a child and never lost her faith. She was a good student and fast learner who received her former education from the Milwaukee Public School System. Gloria attended Lafollette Elementary School, Audubon Middle School and South Division High School.

Gloria was a hardworking woman employed as an Environmental Service for Sinai Samaritan and St. Francis Hospital for more than twenty years until her health declined. She took pride in her position and was often admired for her dedication and knowledge of the job.

Gloria shared eighteen years of her life with her loving companion; Mr. Willie Rodgers whom she affectionately referred to as her EVERYTHING. Gloria was a nurturing mother who wore her motherhood with as a badge of honor. She absolutely adored her two children and she showered them with unconditional love.

Gloria had a beautiful spirit, she was a sweet, family orientated woman with a bubbly personality who had the singing voice of an angel. She enjoyed karaoke, listening to music, stepping and traveling with her EVERYTHING. She found immense joy spending quality time with her family, especially with her grandchildren going shopping and out to eat.

Gloria was so much more than a mother, grandmother, godmother, niece, aunt, cousin and friend, she was a blessing; that bright beacon of light that illuminated everyone’s life. She was loved and she will be dearly missed.

She transitioned to glory on Saturday, April 6, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Alberta Gordon and stepfather, Tom Gordon; daughter, Mary Taylor; aunts, Lucille, Daisy, Jean and Louise; Quinsin’s Godfather, Bob Krahn.

She leaves to cherish her beloved memory her two children, Taronza Renee Fox (Jeffery) and Quinsin Taylor (Star); companion, Mr. Willie Rodgers; stepson, Jason Rodgers; godchildren, Jesse Sawyer, Prashanta Coleman, Iriel and Darren Hayes; grandchildren, Turon Willis, Ta’Riyah Taylor, Quiniyah Taylor and Quinsin Taylor Jr.; brother, Rickey (Kimberly) Fox; The Krahn family– Aj, Ben, Heidi and Peter along with a host of beloved relatives and dear friends that held a special place in her heart.

Visitation from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, followed by service at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Travelers Rest Evangelistic Ministry, 5975 North 40th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Interment at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
