Gloria was born on January 7, 1934 to the union of Oscar and Katherine McCrary Sr. in Detroit, MI. Gloria had a love for God at an early age and would be a devoted servant of her Church, community, and most importantly her family. As a young child Gloria had a desire to help and work with the youth in her presence. Gloria was very head strong and developed a motto that she would live by for the rest of her life. “Because they said I couldn’t, I did”!
She passed away on March 24,2024 and leaves to cherish in her memory her loving husband Bruce Wright, sister in-law Charlotte Richards of Peoria, IL, daughter Sheryl Wright of Milwaukee, WI, daughter in law Emma Wright of Australia, five grandchildren; Kesha Wright of Atlanta, GA, Aaron (Sara) Wright of Milwaukee, WI, Ramard (Candice) Wright of Milwaukee, WI, Shalanna (Desmond Dunlap) Wright of Milwaukee, WI, Cotrell (Lauren) Wright of Milwaukee, WI, fifteen great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children, with a host of relatives and friends. She also had special friends who would include The King Family, Pastor Joe Ellwanger, Pat Coleman, and Venice Williams.

Visitation will be held at Cross Lutheran Church, 1821 North 16th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Service at 12:00 PM.
