Glenn Paul Gronitz, 75, of West Allis, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 14, 2026. He was born on March 25, 1950, to Adolf and Beatrice (née Gurgal) Gronitz.
Glenn was known for his love of hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He began his career at Kearney & Trecker, where he earned his machinist apprenticeship and later transitioned into safety training. Following the company’s acquisition by Giddings & Lewis, Glenn continued his work before eventually starting his own safety business. He later worked at Phoenix Products Company and Patrick Cudahy, retiring in August 2013.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Adolf and Beatrice, and his wife, Angela “Cheri”. He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Anthony) Martin and Daniel (Brooke) Gronitz; his stepchildren, Joanie Richards and Eric Czajkowski; his grandchildren, Allison and Ryan Gronitz, and Ashley and William Richards; his brother, Michael Gronitz; his sister, Christine Schram; and many extended family members who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM, with a service to follow at 3:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin. Entombment for Glenn and Angela will take place at a later date.

Dad, you were taken from us too soon. There is still so much we hoped to learn from you, but we take comfort in knowing you are at peace. Your memory will forever be cherished, and you will always be loved.
